Aren't Greenville hourly employees union? No wonder they weren't included in this ruckus. Must be separate negotiations going on there, maybe?

Crestview only gets 5 weeks? That blows. Greenville/Waco get up to 26 weeks, as per legacy company policy. Oops! There's that word...'policy." Sorry for cursing.

The voluntary layoff was a great thing if you had a chance to apply. I know of a couple of design managers, including me, that got walked out the week of, with no severance because of "new issues" found on a different aircraft than the one we were "responsible" for when we got sent home a week with no pay.

Notified a local newspaper here in Crestview a week ago. Told them about Vol. layoffs and how the PID division which is Waco, Greenville and Crestview offering Vol. layoffs and how unethical there severance package was Waco and Greenville get up to 26 weeks for every year they worked. Then Crestview only is allowed up to 5 weeks. No response! no follow ups they must be paid!

They've asked all management and supervision to consider a severance package which I've been told they did in Waco too. Nothing on hourly employees yet. I'm pretty sure they are closing Waco and they need room for their chosen ones in Greenville.

I'm pretty sure i remember L3 quietly changing their employment agreements years ago to "arbitration only". By continuing employment you automatically accept the terms.

Ready to be gone from the bs of the commercial program. The management would be lucky to manage a dog kennel JB,DC,TC, have the people skills of belly button lint and a serious lack of ethics or morals. No wonder it's a failure

I'd join the effort on the class action if your lawyer thinks he has a case.

What a bunch of b---s--- Waco and Greenville receives up to 26 weeks and Crestview will only to get up to 5 weeks. And after all the Ethics classes we received here. Really all the same division but not treated fairly. Anyone know of a good labor Lawyer. Totally disgruntled!

It is one week per year of service up to 26 weeks plus 2 weeks in lieu of notice. Plus 20 percent. Plus they keep paying their part of our medical, dental and vision for the length of our severance. Plus if you have already overdrawn on your PTO, they will forgive the unearned balance. It's not a bad deal considering that we will layoff no matter what and they don't have to give us anything at all.

For you @OPttfcR-4yoo, yes it is true, Waco and Greenville get up 26 weeks plus 20%. Heard just this morning 267 here in GVL volunteered, we are going up for sale anyway, time to jump before they jump us!!! Forget a lawsuit! Texas is a right to work state, means you can work for whomever will hire you. They in turn can get rid of you at anytime for any or no reason.

I never said anything about what most people blamed Obama for or Trump for. I said it will take 2 years for the true results to show up. I'm not talking about political posturing or each side of the aisle passing blame. I'm talking about the length of time it takes for anything to get done in Washington. If Trump and Congress pass anything that will generate revenue for our type of business it will take two years to trickle down to our bank accounts. In the meantime we are going to have multiple businesses going out of business due to the last 8 to 15 years of mismanagement in our White House. It's not political with me unless you consider wanting to earn a fair wage for a fair days work and be able to pay the bills political.

@By not me How is it that it takes two years for anything to be blamed on Trump, and the DAY that Obama entered office everything that was done during the administration of Reagan and Bush was his fault and he was expected to undo any of their shenanigans?? This has nothing to do with Obama or Trump it has to do with the lack luster management at L3, and their know it all attitudes. The company is sinking due to many years of poor management that has trickled down and gone from poor to just stupid individuals running the place.

All the current leadership (if you can call it that) should be forced to resign --no severance! Gross incompetence for sure! DH should be ran off after all the most Stupid decision making anyone has ever seen!! Now, all the layoffs, bad management, and running off experienced people over the past 2 years is catching up! By the way the HR group is as much to blame as anyone. They don't have the balls to stand up to the ignorant leadership team on running all the talent off and keeping their sheeple.

Waco was long gone before the first 747 arrived. They were dead and just didn't know it.

They don't have to report it in the news until it actually happens. When our public relations officer gives them a statement then you'll see it locally. Until then, it didn't happen and can't be confirmed.

Next, don't blame Trump, because anything happening this year or next can be put squarely on Obama's shoulders. But we knew that the minute he was elected and started defunding our military power.

It will take at least 2 years of political bull to get anything that can be blamed on or attributed to the Trump administration.

However, you can look at L3 Waco starting the day they brought in the management team from JOG, who had already run their own division into bankruptcy and felony court, and pinpoint the beginning of the end for Waco. I've personally never seen such incompetance in the workplace before. Almost like they were sent here on purpose to make sure that we could never dig ourselves out of the pit they were digging us into.

So, here we are, top heavy like nothing I've seen since the BBJ days, more program managers than programs, by far, and more layers of management than any company can possibly ever hope to support. It actually looks a lot like structure of the U. S. government.

My boss, whom came from Greenville, told out team out of the gate that they would fix the place or voluntary resign, should be interesting to see if he and the rest of the Greenvillites will resign like he said in his opening statements to our teams,...

Why we have to pay the price for this incompetence and arrogance from Greenville Leadership, too late now, and no news in Waco, the paper and TV folks must have L3 stock and decided not to report the layoffs to keep it between all of us friends,

Doubt seriously that Trump had anything to do with L3T's problems. The way I see it is: 1) poor job of bidding. Most of the people responsible for this are long since gone. 2) poor job of executing. A lot of blame here goes to DH and all her s---asses she put in place in support then latter mfg. 3) poor job of recovery. Blame this on the culls that came down from Greenville: JG, JC, MN, DC, PP. Take the money and run...

Crestview just received paper work for Vol. layoffs 8-18-17. The place is a ghost town. Can't win a contract! Hey maybe it is all the overhead in the front office we have to pay for as indirect. Wow takes a genius to figure that out!
