They want more for less, the word is out this place s---s to work for, how management treats it's employees, how they write you up for such petty stupid things just so they meet their 40 failures a month quota. When they did that integrity went right out the window, now they are allowed to have an opinion or their own interpretation of the rules, and your guilty until proven innocent. The unions are loosing basically every investigation. You could have substantial evevidence to prove you innocent but yet they rule against you because the old phrase " that's what Omaha is saying they want us to do" as those in Omaha are sitting in their cushy offices and cubicles, home every night off every weekend, never missing their children's events, but yet we are expected to miss all of ours....in a 90 day period I tried to layoff 9 times each time I tired taking a compensated day, pl day/single day vacation, so actually that's 18 times and every time I was denied! Every time in that 90 day period I was denied time off, and 4 of the times they had excessive crew supply...and I was found guilty of their lay off policy. Ya that's how this company is ran, they bully their employees, they try to distract them during sensitive moves to get them to look away from what they are doing so they can pull them out of service. On istance is a manger honking his horn during a shoving move. Sickening isn't it. So integrity and ethical management is no longer here at Union Pacific. This place is a joke to work for, if I didn't have so much time invested I would find something else but I'm to close so I have to ride it out.

This company is the one of the most evil company in this country! They don’t care for their employees, because of their greed ! Is very sad and disappointed how this company is turning in to ! What they have accomplished is because of the employees, the back bone of the railroad! Up executives don’t care for no one ! Greed got them blind ! Making millions in their own pocket ! But god got something for each of those evil executives! God does not forget !
This is the worst job I've ever had. Current management don't give a c-ap about the employees and will step on whoever they have to in an attempt to keep their own job.
Evil greed and abuse = Union Pacific simple as that, nobody cares about the employees, is all about the money, sad and true , evil, greed and abuse translates Union Pacific

15 years ago, the company was an awesome place to work but nowadays, I wouldn't work for that place unless I was homeless. What really bothers me about the place is how they change the employees brain patterns, My so-called friends seem to be brainwashed to the point that they want nothing to do with you if you don't work for the company. I mean NOTHING. Guys that I golfed with, drank with, hung out with, think that their Gods gift anymore. Any company that has the means of brainwashing their employees that much isn't worth working for.
All uprr were told not to post negative stuff on social media or permanent dismissal will be the result so there are people bleeding from the tunge from bitting them

See this going on in the shops as well managers jandi g out ftx slips for not looking bith ways crosding tracks inside of sjop when there is not any locomotives on those tracks. Petty ridiculous write ups used to drive moral to it's lowest. Managers with zero people skills there just to push production but say safety first. Glad i only have a few more years till retirement.
