Anyone else a little upset about today's commonly asked question videos... comments like "must of this is happening fast and decisions are being made as we go" and "most of what is happening is being driven by the employees who got us on this trajectory" are not helpful and are disturbing.. it sounds like what they are saying is we are making this us as we go because you got us here.

I haven't had the chance to watch them but the email obviously caught my attention given the circumstances. When it said it was answering questions, I knew I could disregard. No hard questions will be answered. They would all be scripted, possibly through some PR company. To their credit, they are auditing departments not just letting a whole slew go based on something random or some matrix of other companies (or so I think). It's a small give, but better than most. I think it might be a slower better process, but it doesn't help the people that work here plan for their future. It is about what is best for the company - not saying that in a derogatory way, it's just not what a lot of us signed up for and why we loved it as a home. Haven't heard a word from the Molina bros and I have to wonder if they knew this was coming and wanted to get out or they didn't see this coming at all and were blindsided. I am equally uncomfortable with each of these.
I agree. For my former company, the consulting firm came in a few months before the laid off to plan the reorg. Then they did the laid off in one shot, then it's over. What is killing the morale is that this is going on for a few months and the uncertainty is killing us. I sincerely think that it's not the best way to do a reorg or maybe they have a hidden agenda that we are not aware of. Let's get it over with already and let people move on with their lives.
Agreed. The videos were a bunch of BS to try to appease the situation. You are trying to tell me those were the 5 top questions asked ... I think not. Those are the questions they wanted to try to address although they really didn't say anything. Can we just get on with it already?

Bad communicator
Yeah I think Mr. Joe White is blaming us for this reorganization, that we are the one driving this. If it were for me, I would recommend no layoffs! I don't get what he tried to communicate. I think he makes it worse. Not a great communicator.
