The Russellville City Council approved an ordinance during its regular meeting Thursday that will authorize the issuance of industrial development revenue bonds to finance a $50 million expansion at ConAgra Foods.
So another words the citizens of Russellville get to pay out of their pockets to expand the Conagra plant instead of Conagra paying for it?

Expecting small plants to close
Still will not pay one dime for these products. Why reward a shark like Sean Connolly? In the end only he and his SLT will make out like bandits. The rest if us? We know the end to that story.
Are they planning to move more products there on top of what is there? Or modernize the existing product lines? Seems to be the new way of doing things to close other plants and move the lines to other locations.

What kind of slop do they make there? 50 million is a lot for a smaller company but peanuts in the big side of the food industry.
