Just got through a town hall they are cutting a lot of high senior leadership positions. For now it is not effecting associates but we know everything has a trickle down effect on the rest of us.

I had the same conversation today.....the trickling effect from the top down. i assume they will try and streamline hr also. we will see many cuts in the future. the push is for the managers to own their business more and not rely on ast and hr. the hrms role has changed to focus even more on the people piece and have the managers take ownership. i assume once that is done it could be bye bye hrm's.
Thanks for sharing this - we got updated on this today too. Merchandising will be hit and they will be looking to 'streamline operations' whatever that means.
It's a slow decline and it hurts a lot.
