G-55 The undoing of a great railroad..

I've been with the railroad industry over 35 years, and yes I fit into this category of potential candidates for "early retirement" . Lately I've been hearing a phrase that sums up Lance Fritz. " It's only business, nothing personal." That's the problem, we've left the idea of providing stable employment. A means to provide for our families, and impacting our communities .and passing wisdom down the line.Once again the all mighty dollar rears it's ugly head. ....Mr Fritz will receive his big bonus , no matter how many good people suffer. One way or another he will get his "500"

AFTER himself -- then it's all about the shareholders. Makes perfect sense...you bring in young people who are willing to give 150% at a lower salary than the older more experienced folks. These new people will say "Yes sir" and do what they're told by the boss man without questioning anything. Fritz will be judged some day. He and others will have to explain themselves in due time.

He is revolting - he says it's all about the shareholders. Why is he not giving up his 18M bonus?

Instead he wants to mess with people's lives. And last week - they had a bunch on new hires in the headquarters. How ridiculous is that - after they announced 750 have to go???

God I miss Jim Young - he cared about the employees.
