Yeah, so I had to google spinner service as apparently I was not in the know. Fortunately, I opted not to use the family PC. So is this considered a rotational benefit? I can't locate it on the Ex-Pat site. Maybe it's buried in the uplift section?
3ikv, I admire your values. Congratulations on your long running relationship. Spinners aside, Bangcok is still one if the best assignments out there. People who go there just don't leave. Chevron should make sure that they bring in fresh blood and rotate people through these assignments every 3 years.
Well, I have a wonderful , healthy (knock on wood),wealthy life and have a very hot and s-xy girlfriend that I do not feel any need to cheat on at anytime, nor would I if I wanted to, I am not a two-timing loser - LOL. I certainly don't feel I am missing ANYTHING, as we travel extensively and live an exciting life. . But enjoy your life of sin and infidelity, if the shoe fits!
@kqp, I have to agree with you about Thailand. They pay you work there? And that too with premium salary, housing alloance, cost of goods, yada yada all tax protected plus those incredible spinners? Rest of the Chevroids... You have no idea how unfair life is and what ye are all missing!

Bangkok.... for 8 years..... with the spinner service and free housing, chauffeur driven car, private schooling for my 2 kids, 45% salary premium, annual home visit airfares and expenses, $10K for spousal accompanying.... it was heaven.
With less choices and opportunities now, it is a blessing to find a spot anywhere. Anyway, during the good old days, i have a great stint at Perth Australia.
