I am part of a RIF that happened this Friday, August 18. This RIF included mostly Recruiter's Assistants at brick and mortar sites as well as remote (work at home) RA's.
Does anybody know more about these layoffs? Are they done? They seem to have been done really quietly, I have not heard about this until I read it here...
ON August 16th the Masters laid off app. 85 people in Webster, another 20 in Oregon, another 20 or so in Canada, and more in England. This effectively wiped out a whole division that was making between 30-50 million a year with profits. There is no word of who is replacing all these workers but I work with computers for said division and I am gone too and all the developers who wrote the software. My best guess is no kidding upper management hasn't a clue, or it is just Xerox road kill.
I only know of 2 recruiters let go, 1 was there for over 10 yrs
