That's the pattern, management is required to turn in their team rankings 2 weeks prior to month end, and layoffs occur right before month end. 10 months in a row, it started in Dec 2016.
In addition to IT site closures, where they were given 90 day notice to find an internal position or job elimination. Multi-year contractors have also been let go or given notice for month end. Offshore layoffs have also occurred.
Across the board we're just waiting for stabilization in some form, the stress is overwhelming, accomplishing anything is nearly impossible as many of those let go recently were very knowledgeable, high performing resources.
