Spoke to my boss. Didn't mention I have 3 job offers. Just told him this stress is killing me and I'm hoping he ends my suffering and just gives me the package. The severance would be very nice right now. I have also maxed out my PTO.

I have no package to report. I'm miserable. Maybe I can go to plan B and get s-xually harassed by my coworkers who peruse this site. Maybe my manager will get the hint.

do you manage to get the package? It seems if the lay off triggers two months grace period, people can't get the severance package at the day being laid off?

After years of being attracted to my irresistibly s-xy manager, this RIF finally gave the courage to confess to him what I wanted. I walked into his office last night, pulled the blinds, and whispered:
"Please end my suffering and give me the package."
I mean...if your boss reads this, he or she would likely NOT give you a package. If they know you are leaving. I would not have posted this.
Hopefully your boss gives you his package.
