Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

cpo to take over specialists jobs

Doing details and contract builds will be going to CPO this November. Installers will send them all the details and they will do the build. Specialists will be relegated to selling in the aisles.

CPO is doing great (LOL) give them more work to screw up

More hands in the cookie jar create more problems. They continue to try and streamline processes but adding more is just killing them. They already have people in positions that don't care cause they are afraid of losing job. Take whatever you can from them. I used them for a the center of excellence program wasted most of my sick hours. Going to use up the rest before my CSA 5 time is gone. It's a sad company now..

Before they took SPIFF's away I worked as many weekends and holidays as I could. I tried to bring in as many WEX appliances to be put on display as possible for more opportunities. Since then I have stopped that. If new stuff is in I don't look for it just wait to be told to put it out. I have no incentive to doing above and beyond. SSEI is almost impossible. Now our market could ruin it even if we do well.. Why should I do more then collect paycheck??

I can see the writing on the wall this company could careless about customers or about its employees . I am currently a PSA manager I take pride in my job . Seems like most associates are either burnt out or are just come to work for the pay check . At times I feel as if I am more of a customer associate then anything. I agree they should have made the job cuts all the way at the top . An untrained monkey could do a better job running this company then Niblock.

More and more Lowe's is acting like a company in serious trouble. When I look at all that they have done in 2017 it seems like they are doing anything and every thing to get back to solid financial ground. Instead of making cuts where they should, at the top, they are making at the store level. Last time I checked no one at corporate helps out with code 3's and 50's on a busy Saturday afternoon. Instead the "executives" are relaxing at their weekend retreat or playing golf.
