"Online is a cash cow but art can not be taught online" you're too funny 1exp, ha ha ha. You know when your campus "teaches out" you'll be submitting your resume to AiO. Best of luck to you!

I am from a ground campus and AI online is so bad No amount of "training calls" could make up for the fact that the education is not on par. Online is a cash cow but art can not be taught online

Got the same email. What it doesn't answer is if, in fact, the Middle States schools (Ai online) and HLC schools will get the blessing. Or will the sale go on without them and they close? His words are carefully chosen regarding this as to not cause us rats to jump ship!

We just received an email update about the sale. Something is being submitted to the DOE for review the week of the 28th and they expect the review to take several weeks. There was also mention about preparing for "Day 1" and to look out for information about what to expect being a DCEH employee. Other than having a new employer as far as paychecks/w2s are concerned, I was not aware that things would radically change, I was assuming business as usual. Anyone have insight on that?

THANK YOU, this sounds like a real update...thank you for sharing. Those of us still working here are feeling a tremendous amount of stress with all the the uncertainty regarding the sale. Please continue to keep us updated as developments happen, it really helps ease the anxiety. I'm fairly confident this whole thing is going to fall apart but it's nice knowing where things truly are.

Via corporate office - the sale was delayed due to Department of Ed issues. We didn't get very clear information - not even sure who knows for sure - but we were told mid-September instead of end of August for the sale. A group of people are leaving corporate next week that were let go earlier in the summer so the timing is odd. In no way is the transition prepared to be successful. A lot of work needs to be done and there isn't staff to get it together. There is a a lot of pressure on Middle States to pull the plug on credentialing the remaining schools. The financials obviously are not in order among other issues with facility and faculty - the $$$ issues are looming for the sale.
