7abh - Is that the best you can do, the last time I heard that was at kindergarten and I expected no less. well done. Actually I used to work for Chevron but now work for the opposition and occasionally look at this site for amusement and also to remind me of how lucky I now am for very obvious reasons.

I think it was something to the effect of any posts that were made that he didn't like or were of the nature of what the OP above is complaining about must be by people from Houston.

That post was quite Ironic, and hypocritical, as Houston is probably the most politically/racially/demographically/ideologically diverse city in the nation. And full of mostly fine, honest, warm, hospitable hard-working people. Anyone who has visited or lived there knows. Another instance of a likely liberal pseudo-elite closet racist being prejudiced against anyone who does not think like they do. Of course if you call that thinking, that is. Pathetic.

This is what a typical Chevron person all about is so it is difficult to conceal. Sewer dwellers and semi educated sewer dwellers some of which can spell and need to remind others of their superior skill they got after years of being "educated".

@1dyw, I am fairly sure that more than several of our so-called leadership come to this site everyday. They visit this site from home and read-read-read, but won't dare post out of fear their IP address will be discovered. So, everyone speak up and in between the insults and horseplay, try to send some clear information to these smug clowns. Believe me, they do pay attention, even though they don't give a sh!t. Fear not posting their names too along with real examples of their inept ways. If they don't get canned by the new CEO and upper echelon, maybe they will start to change their ways.

Yes I was taught manners, but I was also taught how to make good business and personal decisions. Which our Board, Ceo and every other person 27 psg and above seem to have a problem doing. If I could sit in front of everyone of them with out having the threat of being sued by some corporate twit of an attorney I would. Maybe they need to hear these things on this website..... What was the thing that we were told in the meeting before the big layoffs? You will know what not to do when you go to your next job.... Well time to look in the mirror. Quit making bad decisions with my company that I work hard for everyday. This company has gone in the toilet. They need to hear this everyday. Several people have a hard time coming in everyday. They were so happy about the hurricanes because it is one less day to put up with the corporate crap. It took 10 years to destroy every bit of pride that people took in Chevron. A bunch of California fruits, come to Texas and play ball you would not last the year.

A lot of people on this thread must have had a bad upbringing. I'm glad I didn't have a life like you had.

I get the odd tidbits of real info here (e.g., some of the HR related retirement info proved useful, and some of the BU snippets give an interesting taste of local worries) but mostly I come to be entertained by the balderdash du jour. Without the latter, I would probably not stumble across the former....so all good in my opinion.

I have a built-in filter. I am able to quickly scan by the crap and actually read the more interesting views and comments. Bring it on. Everyone's rants and points of views are welcome here.

I monitor this site solely for the comic relief. I get a kick out of both extremes... from the vulgar, profane insults from overgrown high school jocks to the smug, sanctimonious, self-righteous chiding if the snobs. Love it! Please provide more.

Buz ... I am the originator of the post ... I would like to see the information but I am sick of the childish nastiness and filthy language. As adults we should be able to talk about issues without being repulsive. Name calling demonstrates the speaker's ill-concieved perception of superiorIty when in fact that is clearly not the case considering the emotional outbursts

I'll take the contrarian position. Don't stop the childish attacks and please post more names. We all like to know exactly who the folks are we're talking about.
