I honestly didn't think it would get this bad....I think only way to save QC is to be acquired by Microsoft or Amazon....or google (FANG)
Any thoughts on this?
Please no crazy response

Saying 'no crazy responses' invites 'crazy responses' - just saying
Another major problem within QCT is the leadership. JT was/is a no op; his major contribution was sorting out the roadmap. Engineering got very bloated and he did little to sort out the infighting among middle management. Now he's going to have oversight for NXP, good luck with that.
All talent already left QC, only low technical knowledge and people s---ing milk with 0 contributions, ask Ma'kal he knows the formula. LMAO.
@uix LMAO
Here's the problem with QCOM, they had about 1000 pretty high caliber people in the 90's, and they had CDMA creating a large tailwind, so they were able to take a lot of money out of the stock market. But the high caliber people got wealthy and most of them retired, and now QCOM is very much like any other normal company. The company is a good example of misallocated capital, there is a tremendous amount of money going to a small number of wealthy people, with not many great ideas, and not the right kind of people to implement the ideas.
If Google, Apple, or Samsung tried to buy Qualcomm, it would be met with anti-trust blocks across the world. Google was able to Motorola years ago BECAUSE there was an independent Qualcomm. Even a MIcrosoft buyout would be looked at very closely and it doesn't fit with their business focus anyway (not to mention the sting they still feel from Nokia).
Amazon could do the deal, but I don't see why they would. Their branded hardware is low end for the most part. Qualcomm is not a consumer brand, so the buy doesn't put Amazon in front of more faces.
The only company that makes any sense to me is SoftBank.
Goid news! Apple to buy QCOM. Just got announced.
Bad news: 90% of Qualcomm engineers will be laid off by Apple because they don't make the cut. Especially the useless directors, VP and above who are products of Qualcomm internal corrupt promotion system
Great news! Finally I can afford a house in SD.
From what I have heard the goal is to have about 1/3 of people in places like US and Europe and have the remaining 2/3 in low cost places like India. I think this is consistent with global technology changes can company. Good news if you are looking for high paying job in India.
Is not exploding. This is the correct time to rebalance to different country as is giant global company of this time now. It make sense to have small numbers of the people in San Diego and the most in the India. Is very much cheaper in the India.
