AMD has made clever decision to enable all pcie lanes from the lowest skus. Thanks to this they will be able to get share in cloud storage, machine learning, mining & some other IO based workloads. The strategy to attack, where there is chance to win, will probably bring positive ROI and will hurt Intel, but will not change market dramaticaly.

Hi Looser poster, xeon scalable is great. Whats the point in AMD not having A proper chip for 10 yrs, Xeon scalable shows Intel maintains its lead. If i were enterprise or cloud or network provider i would not touch the xeon family no matter what its not your mom and pop laptop

What an embarrassment, little AMD with no money and inferior process, three years behind according to the intel TMG marketing yet can produce such large cores and competive products says just how lazy and bad intel process and design is and how the thousands at intel are a failure in a competitive environment.
