Has anyone heard anymore about the membership department? With all the changes this year, I have noticed the focus on this department to almost nothing. Being an office job I feel it is in jeopardy, but I am not sure how much time I might have. I know I will need to find another job, but I want the severence package also. I can't believe I worked so hard and invested so many years in Marketing/Membership under so much pressure to be told my department is not necessary.

Was told they are going third party. Digital media like Groupon. Only keeping one person on and no lead.
We feel the same seeing that there is no focus on our department for months. We have no definite answer but it is really hard to hang in there. They took the membership lead and turned them into an outside rep and it's only focus is making 100 calls and trying to get new signups. The end has to be near.

Not sure when but my club both quit in marketing and they are not posting there jobs. No one will say why they aren't but we all know.
