Attitude in Cisco is having a job is bonus. So be happy if you survive this culling season and treat it as a bonus. Although there are better greener pastures out there that are not as brutal so you have a choice. Benefit of employment at will.
For the same reason that there's a French expression of endearment that translates into calling someone a cabbage. Mon petit chou which is funny because chou can mean cream puff (like My Little Sweetie) or chou means cabbage.

No Bonus this time. My manager told me. They just dont have money to pay for it. They are going to bleed after Q4 results and market is going to kick their a**es. There will lot of chopping and trimming. so we can see more brutal layoffs coming to save the costs and shore up the stock and company for the future. Cisco is lead by a bunch of jokers and we cannot expect them to turn over things. They will fall back to layoffs and cutting of bonuses and this should help stock in short term.

Good question. Nothing definitive but I did hear a rumor of some sort of bonus. Can't see it being 100% though as someone else said on one of these posts. That said staff are demoralized enough...not paying a bonus would make people even more demoralized. When they paid out 25% at the half year they talked about paying it because of confidence in the future. Not paying it might send a message the LT are not confident...can't say I'm confident though!
Wow...bet you are the life and soul of a party you piece of tu*d. Still, I bet your mum tolerates you...you do know who she is right? Not had your coffee yet or just chronically unpleasant? You could probably get counseling. Someone could help you sign up if you are not capable?
