Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

My store doesn't have LP in it but once or twice a month. Nor does our HR interact with us so eh. It really wouldn't be a loss.

Regardless of what happens, I hope Lowe's rots in hell, with all the corporate pricks, That are creating this mess.

Lowe's Wasted money dumping into it as an investment but thats nothing new..

Woolworths and its US partner Lowe's have now poured almost $3 billion into Masters, even though it is yet to break even.

Lowe's fails on so many levels costing employees jobs. Just look at the CEO's bonus program. Cost department managers their jobs.

Master Home Improvement Stores was owned by Woolworth's and they did all close. Not sure what this has to do with Lowe's.

Does anyone know about the 60 stores ccalled" Master Home Improvement". In Australia. That failed and all stores closed millions lost and that is. when they started to down size there news renews LOWE'S FAILS in AUstralia. Read about

I hope everyone knows the email is authentic and if they did anything after the fact, then they would be subject to multiple lawsuits for breaking a number of laws. Just recall he didn't mention anything about HR or LP.

Nothing is going to happen people, at least not at this point. It's retail and changes or going to happen, it's the nature of the business. All box stores are going to have issues and the majority of people do the shopping online.

To the commenter who said you could remove LP and HR and nothing change at the store. Lol either you're in a tiny risk level 1 or 2 store with no issues or you're just not very smart. Sure. Pull LP out and see how that works for ya.

Well it's 2 days from when this is supposed to happen. I have my doubts anything really going to happen and if it does most likely LP and HR. I think Specialists will get removed soon but not this soon. The CPO has to be up and running first all over. As far as the post below about being removed it probably won't be but they will probably ban his IP though there are easy ways around that.

I seriously doubt all these changes will happen at once. I think hr and LP are the first. Not sure on the rest. You can eliminate hr and LP and nothing change at the store. The others thats a different story. J see that happening next year. Need the CPO up and running all over first.

Here is something to think about - there could be massive lawsuits against lowes based on Damron's email if they actually do eliminate SS positions, then a director of a corporation intentionally provide false and misleading statements to the employees, public, and technically shareholders since many of us own shares in lowes stock.

Intentionally providing false and misleading information to vested parties is not only a fiscally criminal act, but opens the company up to massive civil liability.
