Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Sign expiration dates are farther out

I noticed signs in div 71 put up 7/9 are expiring 7/29 (mostly patio )

Is this because patio is slowly going clearance or is this going towards monthly signing ? Wonder if it's a large sign count as hours got cut

Just curious

Remember when we had a "team" dedicated to signing

Also doing clearance and white tickets. The good old days

Yeah, the less frequent they have to be changed, the better. Although I don't even place much faith in the expiration date anymore. I have far too many times had to replace signs a week early, and half the time the price isn't any different. There was a week last month that many expired a week early, surprising us with far more to come down than expected (while many of the new signs didn't even change price!), and then THOSE signs went and came down a week early too! Such a damned waste of paper and time. That whole system is a frustrating mess... esp the recent one where for some stupid reason I had a mass quantity of unneeded signs yet also missing a whole lot I DID need. UGH. Don't even get me started on the "emergency signs" that don't change price and just waste my time...

They could have saved a lot of money in the paper alone had they done this long ago! Now I guess it's just a quiet way of cutting payroll!

I rather have dates extend till the end of the month I hate when I see signs that you put up say on 7/1/17 than the Saturday night comes its take down and guess what the signs for tomorrow are the same exact prices you just too down last night talk about being efficient...
