Bailing on relo agreement

Does anyone know about people bailing after taking relo? A few coworkers and myself took relo but we are sick of the way things are going. The ever rising quotas and requirements. We are working twolice as hard to make less than we did last year. Anyone has any tips on how to avoid paying it back? Its basically the one thing keeping us aboard this Titanic of a company.

If they fire you you don't have to pay it back I would think

The worst that could happen is you would have to pay back a prorated portion of the relo payment you were given. If you can stick it out for a year, then quit, you will have to pay back roughly 1/2. If you can stick it out for 2 years, you should be in the clear.

My everday prayer is that they shut down my store. Not likely to happen unfortunately.

I like the area and im not in a center but a retail store. Several of us happened to land in the same place. I believe im allowed to transfer stores within the distric so im shooting for that since we find leadership (also a relo transfer) particuarly lacking. Itll be a year soon so thats something. One more to go i guess.

You have to stay in that center for 1 year and keep your address. And you are required tostay with company for two years. I would contact a lawyer with cooy of relo agreement to try anything else. Do you at least like the area you moved to? Maybe you cqn find a good job and just oay back the relo money.
