Anybody has gone through this and fought unemployment and won?

If you have any documentation about how many hours you worked, that might be good to have. If you are exempt, but we're required to take pto for every doctors appointment, that could be helpful. If you are hourly and worked any overtime without overtime pay, mention it. If your caseloads were huge, mention how high they were compared to industry norms (like 75 to 100), or how much higher they grew year over year. It depends on why you got fired. If you had poor attendence or were fired for a compliance or behavior issue, you will have a more difficult time.
My husband did but not from Humana. Turns out the guy firing him was a lateral who had been given a mangers title by management but it wasn't official. This made all the difference to the hearing examiner when his claim had to be appealed. Just shows you never know what is going to work in your favor & if you are out of work, you have nothing to lose by pursuing your claim if necessary.
Often times you can collect when fired. It depends on why you were fired. Apply and if turned down then appeal. You will have a hearing. If you were fired for productivity, being as much info about work conditions as you can...ie overtime, harassed by coach, etc. For those still working and in fear of being fired, forward any harassing emails from your coaches to your home email or print them if needed in the future.
