Ok so if the rumor is correct, a couple of questions:
How much will severance be?
What will happen if we find a job before the 2 months are up? Can we leave and still get severance?
Can you get fired instead during that period (2 months) in order for them to prevent paying you severance?
If you do get another job, do you have to give two weeks' notice?
This is all incredibly scary but if you (Management) are going to do it, please take us out of our misery and let us know asap.
People rarely back up their statements with facts or proof in here. It's akin to a drive by shooting.

I just heard that corporate is looking at all regions and they will possibly be lay-offs all around the board. I know of 1 region that has already had lay-offs today.
Humana gives 2 per year of service. Atthe end of your second or third year? Too bad, they don't round up.
For poster let go last yr, how long were you @ Humana for? Is there an amount of weeks per yr worked for severance?

I was laid off from Humana a year ago. I got 2 months notice and 2 months severance. Others this year were told the same but let go after only 2 weeks. During severance, Humana still paid my insurance.
HCMs, get ready to do SS and CHE work. It's coming very soon! Why pay all these different roles when they can have the nurses do it while they call members daily! HCMs will become a one stop shop. You may have to work 18 hour days, but you're salaried so it's OK. You will also absorb all the PHC rosters when we are all laid off. That's why they are hiring more nurses. I am pretty sure this is the direction of HAH!
Hcm's to be laid off? Who are you referring to might be getting laid off and where is this information coming from? This job has gotten to be a joke they've made it so that we have to manipulate the system in order to get our calls then we have to do a few questions on each survey instead of finishing surveys and moving on it is terrible trying to get out Then they expect us to be doing dual snap social work type of things who has time to deal with the waiver programs and other things that were not really qualified for as nurses we need to be dealing with more of the medical situation rather than the social work expertise Also who has time to keep up with all these nursing licenses I basely stopped looking and getting more licenses and they haven't mentioned it in a while because there's no time to do it
I'm so sick and tired of the layoffs. I pray the lord keep me and my family until I'm able to secure a job in a more stable environment.

I was thinking the same thing, 8/1 might be the day we get the news.
In another thread, it was posted that a final list of names of people getting laid off would be given to HR on 7/25. If you look at a calendar, this is one week before Aug 1, so it is possible layoffs would occur on the 1st or 2nd. As far as I have found, no explanation has been given of why this may be coming and no specifics yet as to which programs will be hit.
What did you hear that makes you think it will happen on 7/25? Do you know what programs will be hit? I know 7/25 is the meeting for the joining for stay healthy and at risk programs, is that why ya say that?
.Also do we get vacation payout with severance or is it an either or? I have a substantial amount saved in case I find another job. I was going to cash it out. Should I just be using it as much as I can or continue to save?

Good questions. Also, from what I gathered, don't expect layoffs on 7/25, rather early Aug. Not that either timeline is good...
