This is BS... Intel's modem is far inferior than Qualcomm's. It might easy get other way around: Qualcomm should complain that Apple is using low-performing Intel LTE modems just for the sake of lowering price of Qualcomm's products. By limiting performance of Qualcomm's modem by software patches; Qualcomm is in situation that they sell superior product which is not used properly only to limit the price of the supplier's products. Intel wouldn't stand a chance in court if it's not for Apple here.

Intel can't move forward by continuing to have managers that don't deserve to be managers. Managers that don't listen. Managers that don't understand. Managers that make their own employees that start to be seen as the next generation of leaders look bad. Intel has created a culture of backstabbing and lying to destroy reputations to save their own jobs. They need to clean house starting with directors and below. Maybe higher if the poison goes higher. The company will rise to be almighty again if you remove the problems and road blocks. This company was built by good employees that had stability and a sense of ownership. None of that exists today. The poison for bringing in employees from outside is through the roof and there is very little chance for them to succeed. Poison under the Information Security team is unbelievable. The infosec managers are angry, they try to make other managers and other employees fail, so they can be seen as successful themselves. Employees fear retribution and punishment so they never tell the truth on the surveys because the survey data is shared and not anonymous like it should be. The CISO was asked if he would do something about bad managers that don't deserve to be managers and he said the survey doesn't match the statement. The survey asks about senior leaders and their own manager, but it should ask about that and other teams managers that directly affect their job. It should ask about partners, the whole one team, it should ask if that great saying is actually put to use because it's not. Anyone that answers a question in person like that where that employee in the open forum put their neck on the line by stepping up for all of us, anyone that answered a concerned question like that with basically a "you lie" and buries their head in the sand is not a true leader!!! Poison starts at the top of the security org, down to the directors and managers. The employees all pretend life is great for fear of retribution. I hope other departments or orgs don't have the same problems. Clean out the managers and above and fix the culture. Send out a real anonymous survey to everyone instead of a controlled sampling to skew the results. Do a video that promises to use the info to fix the org and that the results are truly anonymous, make a believable and true commitment for the results to be confidential and not shared with the management.

So let me get this straight...Intel is now whining about how qualcomm is using its dominance in the LTE modem business and wireless patents to heavy hand influence OEMs like apple not to buy/use inferior LTE modem chip from Intel...through various tiered pricing discounts, interesting pricing discounts, and vendor locking agreements....because Intel thinks Qualcomm is doing the exact same business practices that it had done to AMD for the past 20+years with computer OEMs like Dell....and now that Intel is not the dominant market player, INTEL is feeling the exact same thing AMD has experienced for the past two decades... suddenly, the Intel snowflake is crying foul.....

Gee I'd you listen very very carefully, you can hear the tiny little violin playing between my two fingers for intel...seems to me, poetic Justice. And people wonder why Intel is so hated.
