It really shows how much we needed ACT. Should have come earlier.

After 20 years I took the ERP,moved out of state and make more than I was. Same job, different company. I can relax at new job, all you who stayed are under desk doing anything to keep a sh-- job.
Seriously, why do people bother spending time here? Many people I know that got laid off this year had to find other means because 99% of the people here aren't over the fact they are out of the game.
It wasn't about trimming the fat. Can't believe anybody believes that. it was about replacing ~12000 salaries that have accumulated pay raises with 12000 salaries at entry level pay. So whatever disfunctional problems that already existed are still there. Nothing solved except trimming the payroll cost and a temporary boost to the stock.

The stated goal of ACT was to increase velocity of decision-making and execution. This, of course, hasn't been the case, but the bigger issue is the lack of coherent strategy, mistrust from top to bottom and poor morale. Anyone can be walked out the door at any time for anything. Now go do great things! Lol.
Intel absolutely needs to be restructured to align with a real strategy. BK and the board aren't capable of this and major shareholders need to make their voices heard.
They just kicked engineers to make room for more managers
