Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Is a complete idiot. Like most others he wants all these things done in the store with not enough people to do it. Our store is so old and small but he wants it looking like a new property. These people seem like they have never done a hard days work in their lives and if they have they forgot what it's like.

It's funny that so many of them have no idea how a store should be run.

We had a really good manager that they used to send to other stores to them. He would be gone for weeks at a time then they would bi#ch when things at our store were not done. He finally left.

My store will be closed soon just a little over a month now. I have jobs lined up I m lucky enough to have the pick of a few. I'll stay til closing like I have for 3 other stores

Hahahahahaha. District managers lift a finger?!?! All they can b--ch about is all the impossible work they want done. They will never come for a week. They could not even do it. They are too cushioned in their job to get their hands dirty.

The company is not looking for a way to be profitable at this point, it's looking for a way to keep cost down and survive through the slowest liquidation in history

I wish that some of these people that are incorporate could come into the store and actually work one week and see how it feels to not have floor people......one person on each side of the store how are you serving our members I bet you're getting a whole lot of complaints it's sad for the people that love their job and are trying to keep the store going .this company is bringing it down not the associates it's corporate!!!!!!cutting payroll ...so you could put more money in your pockets. No appreciation for the little guy that's been keeping your company when you have took everything from us and still trying to take more so sad .and still expect us to be positive big joke
