So? The difference between Intel and AMD is that Intel has already recouped the R&D cost for the CPUs that are currently on the market, while AMD still has to reach that point. So Intel can afford to sell the CPUs at dumping prices. AMD can't.
Let's face it, AMD has no chance against Intel, and Intel is just playing cat and mouse with AMD. In 2006, AMD reached nearly 50% market share, and then Intel shrugged, turned up the heat and reached record market share last year. They could do that again anytime they want.
