It is clear that this forum is mainly driven by sales/support (past or present) staff.
however, there are other-- once reputable, organizations within Oracle which are being wiped out due to the recent events: namely North America OCS / Oracle Consulting Srvc.
Have you heard ever.. that a Vice president of a company beg for business from its own sales force?
M.Gould..another idle VP--has been sending blast emails for the past 2 years, so Sales/pre-sales managers throw some bones to his consultants! where bench has been and is high..in the presence of cheap 'SI' like infosys--clients won't pay high hourly rates anymore plus lack of staff training to what sales is selling are just another reason why OCS has been unprofitable and will be a side-show..and people leaving or let go of constantly.. seems like MH should get to it eventually..
