Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Layoffs at Molina confirmed

Company wide email confirmed layoffs to be done in 2 waves and completed by September. They say they will offer severance pay. Just wondering how folks are notified. This is stressful.

According to a poster in another thread, it is confirmed. Not sure if affected people have yet been notified. If anybody has any pertinent information, please share. Good luck all!

Not 10% of each department; 10% across the board. Some departments will be reduced less than 10%, some will be reduced more than 10%.

Usually the layoffs are done in-person. Sometimes employees are given time to transition workloads but most often, the layoffs are immediate. From what I've seen before at Molina severances are calculated based on a week for every year worked. I don't know anything about any additional money offered. This email about the layoffs just came through to us today so really nothing else is known yet. I'm hoping the best for everyone, myself included of course. We also don't know in which states they are referring to. Maybe all of them.
