It will balance itself out. Those supposed high-qualified unemployed American engineers who are being forced out by low-paid H1Bs don't exist, so when American companies can't hire foreigners anymore, they will move more jobs to foreign sites. Then, US tech salaries will drop rapidly.

I am quite sure that any FLM in US sites can confirm: When you post a job, hardly any Americans apply, and those who do make you go "WTF?" So you hire foreigners. For high salaries. With high expenses for relocation. But people keep thinking that those foreigners are low-cost workers? BS! There are whole streets in SD and SC where nearly every house is owned by indians and chinese. You think they bought those houses from 100k salaries? Think about that question for a while.
