@dqn- thanks. I've said this many times before, but this and other "panels" like it are another glaring example of the divide between corporate HQ and the stores. If anyone in this company needs to be reassured or inspired, it's the store associates (who are the face of this company). There are waaaaay too many people at HE who don't seem to have any real concept of the fact that they work for a brick and mortar retailer. These executives need to get out to the stores and inspire. People at HE keep commenting that they are having a hard time too. But the ones in the stores who are making minimum wage, doing the work of two or more people, and getting asked repeatedly by customers all day "when is your store going to close", or, more often, "no wonder you're going out of business," those are the ones who need an open mic. They're the ones who could actually have a positive effect on public perception.

Did the panel say anything new? No- but they are trying to keep people informed. I think the panel was a nice touch to try and calm the masses. Interesting bunch that do seem to care about the future of sears. Is it enough? Hard to say but giving employees access to open mike does not happen everywhere. I'm not a corporate troll - just someone trying to remain employed as long as possible

I really wish someone would actually post about what was generally said in the panel. They always say we can watch the video in the stores, but none of us can login to see it. It makes store associates feel as if we aren't important enough to share the information with.

The panel made me feel a little inspired, while people will complain on this thread with the usual stuff the fact they lifted me just a little irrespective of future outcomes was a success in my book.

What did the people person say? I'd read that she was going to be the moderator but I'm sure you could still get a sense of her.
