Honestly it's the same way how associates are being treated in our stores and in our call centers. I worked in both. After almost 10 years in the call center and a year in the store. I finally quit 3 months ago, and I'm happy. I hear from people that still work there. How they are treated by higher ups, the scheduling, numerous people getting fired for b.s., or finally getting fed up and quitting. How in the call centers, the rows and rows of empty desks, and associates doing massive amount of o.t. to try their best to help with the calls. But still being treated like sh--. The managers and leads, and associates to scared to open their mouths. But the higher ups in corps not giving a sh--. Plus, nothing being done when associates being harassed s-xually, emotional, or mentally under the Macy's policies of zero tolerance.
Plus, not being able to move up to a better position, because of favoritism or you don't fit into the high school groups that are there. In the call centers, the ventilation s---s, you either freeze, sweat to death depending on were your seat is. There isn't any heat in the buildings, and you smell the fumes from the garage from the open vents. Until they fix the core of this company everything is going to continue to be til nothing is left. As a previous employee that has worked both sides of it. My only advice is look for another job, in the mean time work with each other, and d ont take it out on each other, store & call center employees. You are all dealing with the same thing.
