Gartner Magic Quadrant for general purpose array is coming this October. EMC VMAX will be moving down and to the left. Nimble Storage and Infinidat will rule big time.

September management will decide which products stay and which ones go then come cuts
Storage is DEAD because it's all old technology - way too much overhead - storage moves to server's memory
Things are going so bad they will be anticipating reorg that was previously scheduled to be in feb 2018. Make a bkp (avoid mozy, avoid syncplicity), update your cv, buy new clothes for interview. Workforce transformation!!!!!!!! Willie tanner

EMC VMAX is 20 years old technology. Replacing spinning disks with SSD doesn't make it modern or all flash array.
Pure storage with all technology advancements, Nimble storage with HP marketing and best all time high end array Infinidat will take over storage industry.
