People wishing for the next big layoff are just pushing their agenda. Qualcomm is out of big cost cutting mode. I wouldn't expect larger than a few hundred this calendar year.
I agree with, @OnE5y1b-3hmb. Will we still have layoffs, yes, that's nearly a certainty. But the worst is over, and they will most likely be much smaller than a lot of people are making them out to be.
I don't think there will be any more big lay-offs until the final death spiral begins. The onslaught of other companies (Apple et.al.) could definitely accelerate things though.

I did best advice also from positive coworker. Plan for worse and hope for best. He is good person and very peaceful wise. We not know future. Many intelligent people at Qualcomm so much hope I have but you not know that is the business way.
