Has anybody heard anything else about the 7/25 HR rumor?

There are different ways people are selected to stay or go. Some of it is simply based on an allocation of staff and an entire group could go. If only some people go, it can be based on who is the most qualified based on a set of criteria that is required for the role. Just like when you are initially hired and they pick the best candidate for the role. It is not based on seniority.
I guess the question stands then, "How do they pick which employees will be cut!"
I have had to lay people off at humana. All decisions are made based on improving our costs and data that shows where we realize the most return in investment. Our admin costs were about $10pmpm more than competitors and out growth is stagnated. It's a financially based decision and thats all. In some respects the current management is having to fix the messes of prior management who let it all get out of control. They get stuck with reversing the past poor business decisions of others, are given directives and savings targets to hit.
My coach has mentioned this site as well. But no matter who posted it, the wording they chose reveals them to be mean spirited and lacking empathy for those who have been laid off.
Using phrases like "doomsday" and "just another example of humana not caring about employees" is mocking the posts of those who were laid off previously. Who has time to spend on a site making fun of people who lost jobs - or of people worried about their own jobs? Who would want to that? Get a life, poster.
Humana would love to keep us isolated. Management HATES this site.
It could be. Yesterday one of our coaches mentioned in our team mtng that he monitors this site... still don't understand the reason for the comment... maybe a form of instilling fear in all of us? I know of many coaches who visit this site so those are not news to us.

I was the one posting about drive by posts to inflict fear. I do not believe the person posting that her entire team was let go. Not the way Humana does things. It's posts like that which makes everyone panic for no reason!
I hope that anyone who purposely submits false information on this site... receives a "confidential invite." Our members deserve workers with an ounce of integrity.
Got it. What is wrong with people? You've got people on here with real anxiety and trying to take care of their families. Why be cruel with hoax info.
Is it possible it's just an impromptu team meeting? In the past, Humana's MO has been to break teams apart, not unload entire teams. Are you PHC's?

Anyone who recieves an email with the title confidential- that's how you know if you're getting laid off. Looks like we are safe today. The last rounds they sent the emails the night before and in the am.
The rumor on here points to a list on 7/25, which results in August layoffs. True or not, we will see in Aug.
