You all talking about vendors not sending product to sears stores , well our truck was today and was full of everything,including tools lawn & garden clothes... all new stuff not from a closing store . So our Michigan store is closing they forgot to tell our vendors

At this point, if you are getting full trucks or even three or more trucks a week, this could indicate a closing. Same thing happened in our store when we closed last year. We had hardly any merchandise and then within a few weeks our store was packed.
After it was announced that we were closing we started to get stuff from other stores.
Not saying this will happen in your store but this is what happened in ours
Just as the first person posted they are cleaning outs DCs. Same thing is happening at my store. We have a month before closing and have 3 trucks this coming week.

Im in a michigan store , we havent seen any christmas product as of yet i will start to wonder a month from now if nothing comes in by then, for now business as usual and continue to apply to jobs. This job has caused my high blood pressure and stress headaches... with major stress on my family

@OsKpjAj Maybe they are preparing for one last holiday season? I am sure they are going to push certain stores to go through the holiday seasons its not that far from here right now than well see how it turns out after xmas see what stores are left if any.
Yeah, mine just got a whole lot of our fall stuff last week. (And right before our inventory with RGIS... unfortunate timing.) So far I have never heard any rumors of this store being at risk; will continue to try not to worry as long as we keep getting our new stuff in.
