Molina staff started to let staff go. A group in clinics was called into a conference room and just let go. They are getting paid regular salary until October. After October they can get a severance package and apply for unemployment. This does not make sense. Molina staff is drowning with over work with tons of cases. But people are being let go and paid with regular salary without work productivity. Talk about being a nickel company.

The clinic group worked in the offices in Long Beach.
My heart goes out to all the friends I left behind who is affected with Project Nickle.
So will everyone who gets laid off continue to get paid until October in addition to severance pay? You mentioned a group at a clinic, so wasn't sure if this only applied to clinical staff or corporate as well.
Yes. It's basically their way of packaging the company to sell to another.
I wonder if that's their way around the WARN act, needing to give 60 days notice... Instead give 60 days pay.
