It does matter These are people that dedicated their lives to what they love to do ..Helping others. You obviously don't work for Molina or you are just plain heartless. Despite the 60 days pay it's not a generous act. By law they must give a 60 days departing date letter. Instead, they are doing it as a pay layoff. But it's all to ease the transition to keep things somewhat calm among those people staying. Compassion is must needed under these circumstances Remember these folks have families to support.
Time to put on your big boy/girl pants and s--- it up buttercups... webex or in person... why does it matter? Maybe you need a hug and to be told it will be OK... (It will be)... from the rumors heard, the package is MORE than generous (some complaining it's too generous for a "nickel" company) .. 60 days salary continuance and a severance package after 60 days... if true that's unheard of these days.
Sad it is being done via webex. We need the Molina's brothers back. Or have them start another healthcare plan. Many of us would follow in a heart beat.
Was laid off by Webex at 9:30 am, could not even give me the dignity to do it face to face.
We're f---ed.
Molina is not a school. So don't expect pink slips. People are being called in to a conference room and let go instantly.
Yes, I know multiple people who have received them this morning in Long Beach.
Yes.... they have begun.....
Right now
What plan?
Yes, but has anyone received a pink slip?
Happening right now.
