You never start with employee cuts when trying to stem costs.. that's a weak- minded and short sighted strategy which only saves a drop in the bucket cost wise in an organization where the processes are so broken that the true cause of financial issues are not being addressed first. We spend most of our income on paying for member care.. so where are the strategies for reducing those costs?

There is no cultural compentacy across the board. Company has hired ill-equipped, mentally unfit, uneducated middle management for years. Trash in trash out. No support for the true believers, no training program, no promoting from within.. it's been a mess for so long, no one can remember when it wasn't.

Everyone has been given no reason not to completely check out mentally. There is no cause for anyone to think that anything will ever get better and the best, hardest working good people that are still working are most likely just performing at a fraction of their potential. Thanks, Molina.
It is very sad to see a comany that has grow so much in the past 5 years fail so miserably at preparing for the success and never thinking ahead. The executives at the top are inept to have allowed this to happen and the greed and self preservation only serves to help shore up their own personal financial position at the expense of a company that had a lot of potential... that is all but gone now.
Don't fool yourselves.. Project Nickel is all about putting as many nickels in the pockets of stockholders and execs before the company is taken over by another health care company..
