If you own AAP stock, sell it. It's taking a dive in August.

Good call.
Or we will be acquired and the stock will jump 35% percent.
Never give an unsolicited financial advice
I've known one of the VP's many years. He just gave me a heads up this week that my store was being closed as part of upcoming cutbacks. No personnel will be offered any other positions or transfers. I'm being proactive and getting out since this comes from someone I trust.
I work at a smaller former CQ dc,we feel that it will be cut.We lost people in the last layoff and several left on their own and have not been replaced. We only service former CQ stores and independents who are leaving.
Agreed, that's like the 3rd or 4th post on this site stating more cuts and layoffs are going to happen. If I were an employee I would be concerned. But it could just be one person trying to stir the waters and get others nervous.
If you have more information, tell it
Next round of cuts in August.
The way AAP stock has dropped, with a slight recovery, has me wondering if this is a ploy or if it is truly going down the toilet like it seems to be.
