Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Thought I'd let you have your day in the sun

Now for the truth.

Q1 is typically a weak quarter for Intel. Q2 was weaker.

Intel managers compare to a year ago but ACT costs were taken in that quarter.

Revenue expected this year $61.5bn vs. $60bn last year. That's about 2.5% better I.e. Inflation.

The AMD threat is only just materializing. 1 quarter of enthusiast sales in desktop. OEM are now selling. Server now selling. It will take time but AND currently has equal or superiors product portfolio. With social media Intel cannot control the narrative fully. Reviews count more.

The foundry is proving more of a liability than an asset. Huge costs amortized over tiny volumes.

On new acquisitions and technology Intel had an abysmal record. Nuff said.

In my humble opinion this is peak Intel.

We already knows BK lies through his teeth. Can't trust a word he says so why quote him?

Hey, Bruh, nice to see you again. BTW, tell us just how much do you get from HR for cut'n pasting "Nice fairy tale, bruh" in each post?

Nobody mentioned those things during the earning call. BK is "happy" and "confident", target raised, everything is on track!
