Severance package?

As we wait for the next wave, which might be coming today, I was wondering if somebody could tell us what does the severance package consist of? I have seen several contradicting information in several threads, so now I am not sure which one is to be trusted. If anybody has the actual information, I would be very grateful if they could post it here.

I got severance when I was let go September 2017. It seems, since the beginning of the lay offs, less and less people are getting severance. Here we are, a year or so since this all began and people are reporting they aren't getting severance pay. If Molina doesn't want to pay you severance, they won't. End of story. Sticking around for the severance is probably too risky now. I'm hearing people are not getting severance.

I have to agree with you @OxFJMpj-Itfk and with so many Employees stating exactly what you are saying maybe this is what they are noticing and they will take care of this issue. But on the other hand I can't help but think our employment will lay in the hands of the Manager's, VP's etc. hands doing and ultimately their friends, and friend's friends' will be the ones to be employed and the ones who work their butts off and are not listened to will be left in the dust and rubble of the unemployed stampede. Will it ever stop!!!??? Hopefully it does for the sake of Molina and their Members.

I've heard so many different things. One, was you'll get 2 weeks for every year but it caps off at 6 years. Then I heard you'll get that up front. Then I've heard monthly payments. So I'm not sure which is correct. I just want to know when, I'm ready. The Molina experience has been very disappointing. A very sad place to work for. Too much of the blame game. VP' s letting project managers run things. Friends hiring friends with no experience. Employee's being mistreated, not heard, and not acknowledged for jobs and deeds well done.

I work in the NY office for the health plan, my position will be eliminated 8/11/17. If I don't apply and get offered another position in the company by that date, I'm let go. We have all been told we'll get 2 months of severance.

Hello- it just depends if they can afford it. I know a couple ppl who were layed off and are corporate employees who got a severance package, and I also know someone who is a state plan employee who did not get one. It just really depends on the your plan :/
