Sears Auto Techs - Question

I work at Kmart, and have gotten my car's oil changed at several Sears Auto stores over the years. This is probably a silly question, but when I go next time, I was going to ask them if they could print off my service history for my car? Since we only have 1 Sears auto left in the area, I would like to have the records for future reference, and I've lost some of the receipts. Is this possible? Or does Sears report to CarFax?

Thanks

Any CSA can pull your info thru TPOS station in the auto center. Better go quick before there all gone

Yes anything that was worked on at Sears Auto has history You just need the lic plate of said vehicle to look it up or your name or phone number Lic plate works fairly well as phone numbers seem to change alot. I have done that several times for people wanting their service history. I was a CSA at Sears Automotive

Sears can't just purge your account history. Government requires maintaining invoices for several years. The auto center should be able to pull that information.

I just pulled your account and it shows no record of any service being done. Are you sure you took it to Sears.

It is possible, however those records used to be stored locally and were getting purged after 18 months.

Some data goes to carfax. Though it doesn't always happen.

Alternatively, you can have a Kmart manager pull up your account in the SYW Member Service Portal and look for the transactions in there. There is a way to print out receipts from there. The information is more detailed than what you can look up in your own account through the app or SYW site.
