The problem with Intel

The products are sh--. Given any particular price point AMD now has a better CPU both in servers and PC. Nobody is safe anymore.

Do you think key engineers working on the iPhone are worried about their job? No. They have a great product. You can't go cheap on passionate engineers who deliver great products - hence h1 b is bad investment.

Steve jobs said monopolies are bad because the product guys can't make a difference. That's when the b---s--- MBA tips we have at Intel get ahead. Now we have competition in AMD we don't have any good product guys they already left the building.

Would the last MBA pleaser turn out the lights.

Amazing that a company as large and profitable with three year lead in manufacturing can only produce barely better products than scrappy AMD which is handicapped by far $hittier process.

AMD and Nvidia graphics also on $hittier process blow Intel away.

Before intel priced out the other chipset companies Intel integrated graphics was the joke and their die was bigger even though they had huge silicon lead

How does a company with so much leadership and make so much money out out such little compelling products? $hit leaders, $hit execution and a monopoly that turns good engineers to idiots.

Such a sad company when you think of potential to actual delivery

A good product is the entire product experience: the hardware, software, peripheral elements, marketing, etc.. It's not just about The hardware. It takes more than a few product guys to create a great experience. Unfortunately, Intel doesn't create great experiences because Intel organizations operate in silos, like they are small separate companies.

Right on the money!

AMD has better products in PC/server.

Nvidia absolutely kicking azz and taking names in HPC/IA. Xeon Phi doesn't have a chance in hell.

BK strategy: live quarter by quarter while spending all available cash on bs acquisitions. No long term growth plan whatsoever. Amateur hour at the CEO office!
