Because the numbers can always get better by cutting expenses (employees).

Unfortunately, we're all just liabilities and numbers on the spread sheet to tje decision makers. We're hurting so badly for business that a DV director has offered small Bravo awards of the rank and file if they can come up with ways to save the business unit. If it ever happens, management will take the credit, pay themselves big bonuses for more h--kers and blow, then lay off the person that saved their sorry a$$es in the first place.
