Well if you are in healthcare services your next. HCS has been advised to close all members except a select few. Leaving them with a case load of 20 from 70-100. You know what that means...... once the case loads are 20 and below they will then start to let people go. Can any other employees from HCS chime in. There is also an NCQS audit mid august I heard we are being used for that then its a wrap

Does anyone know about case managers in Texas being let go?
Is this happening all in CA or certain areas in CA.
Someone from upper management close to the upper folks stated that Case managers in California are next in the second wave. Especially in the Inland empire since IEHP dominates that area.
So true! I have been hearing that the second wave is going to be BIG! its going to hit the health plan so I'm assuming that will be MHC. I'm just getting mentally ready, although I wish that they will let us know. Or they might just wait until the audit is over in Aug and let us go then.
Is this unrelated to outstanding CM cases that were not closed appropriately and CM staff needing clear out those cases to accurately account for cases actively managed by CM?
Yes, all case management has to close as many files that they haven't contacted or made a progress note in the last 60 days. They want us to close cases. I guess this means, case management will be thinned out soon. Good luck everyone.
Spoke too soon, it's happening
Yeah nothing in um so not sure what you mean...um cant just cancel authorizations?
Nothing so far on this end
Letting members go Out of case management yes. In order to see how man CM and ToC to let go

What location are they doing this in?
Are you referring to CM?
