If you really feel that Sabre has laid off good people give them a second chance. Scan their resume, interview them and if they are fit for you and your team rehire them.

Apply on Sabre's internal career portal.
There are lot of positions coming up everyday.
Contact other teams that are hiring.
Sabre has become a family-oriented company where many of the employees are relatives of one another so scanning resume will be "just a dream" and thats how many of them will be staying and protecting each other during the layoffs
As a RIF'd English employee, no thanks. This board has revealed some negative things about the company beyond leadership and solutions. Ex-employees who take their $ out of 401k cannot return for at least a year.
I still see some bad employee and have lord's hand on their head to protect them.

Some yes, but from the names I know about 80-90% are very bad.

Who would want to go back? it is like going back to your ex that treated you really bad.
In MVD, HR doesn't allow managers to rehire former employees unless 6 months have passed since they were laid-off. In 6 months, all the good employees that were victims of the "actions" will be working somewhere else.
In the past, employees laid off we're flagged as not rehireable at Sabre. They will not make it by HR to even get to the hiring manager.
