I know some people are posting that layoffs will happen as soon as next month, but this is important point to consider. It's in Qualcomm's interest not to rock the boat before the merger. Only for that I think the company will lay low until it goes through. After that, though, it will be brutal.

Hahaha.....good one. It's obvious Qualcomm will have to increase offer to buy NXP. The question is where to get the money? Apple is not paying so reduce overhead? Sell bonds?
