I thought Oregon required a WARN notice be filed 60 days in advance for layoffs of over 100 people. I haven't seen one for Nike.

@P0cFlC1 see @P4DqvmP -- a notice of 745 layoffs was posted late last week. Something still seems amiss as layoffs started in early 2017 and yes seems as though more advance notice is required by law.
Also, people are mis-reading the undated notice of 1500 layoffs (from 1998, if you look at it in sequence on the WARN site) are from this year, which is incorrect.
After HR seeing all these threads, I think they will be looking into those who are 39 or younger to cut.....I wonder if we should continue to post ageism related posts.
It's there (1500 layoffs), but there is no "Establish Date" associated with it. The only current Nike WARN listing was submitted on September 1, 2017, with an attached letter dated August 31, 2017. Isn't this after the layoffs occurred? Aren't these supposed to be submit this 60 days in advance? Doesn't feel right.
They announced net job reduction of 1400-1500 back in the Spring. This is a net number likely meaning more will be let go but other roles hired back, similar to Technology (let go of 200+ to hire in engineers and data analysts).
It's there. Search by name.
Pops up without a date.
Says 1500 people.
Only WARN notices for Nike search are 2009 and prior, none for 2017. Anyone know how this is? Maybe state is delayed in reporting/posting?

It is on there but not by location. If you type in Nike it shows up as Nike Inc. Laying off 1500.
