This should be no big surprise. They are cutting on spending right and left. Advice would be to NOT make any major purchases or decisions that involve spending extra money until the new year comes. RIFs are going to be huge this next round. Be smart!

travel is frozen for CMB management too. something that usually happens in October. It went into effect early August, which is the earliest i have seen it. we must be hurting, all the messaging we are getting is around learning to collaborate digitally. i am hearing that fios marketing is getting a "move to NJ or leave" directive now.

The company could save a lot of money if the switched to Geico...and if they offered an eisp.

These clowns know very little about a budget. We went from forced 12 hour days 7 days a week to absolutely zero overtime!!

Ridiculous. FOOLS THAT CANNOT PLAN- ONLY REACT!

I suspect the OP has a hidden agenda in that silly post, that of provocateur. Yet the rank and file didn't fall for it.

Why do you think that is? What is your thought? Mine is they went over their budget as they do every year and stopped overtime as they do every single year for the past few decades.

We were told last week...no overtime at all for copper and fiber splicers....and no overtime for copper repair techs. I don't know about fios installers, but they expected the overtime freeze to last for the rest of the year.

If true, it happens every year at the end of a fiscal year. Not real big news here...

I am in the FSC and don't have overtime in my department so I don't know what you are referring to when you say FIOS is getting Overtime. Not in the repair dept
