Might want to learn the difference between "your" and "you're" before you start writing your cover letter.

Nah won't save my job but being able to string a sentence together can't hurt. Let's face it if your a good employee and your laid off you should have no problem finding another job. If your a lump who does nothing then yeah I'd be worried. Lay me off I'll have another job inside a week

Will your pithy remarks and glib outlook save your job?

Your r&d group may want to consider bringing back spell check

So how do you cut 2 billion in non producing overhead - Right now in my R&D group we are rading our kids chem sets to get to M0 on a strategic key product that will bring in revineu and cut costs. Oh yes in addition collegues that need to work together can't get travel but management jet sets for internal meetings . If Flannery is a decent person - capable of leading this might be a good place to start (ph paper vs trans ocianic tickets and fancy dinners/drinks out every night with 5 star hotels which might bring in revenu faster)

Flannery has 50% less salary as Immelt. Before you gob off I lost my role in January.

The leader's bonus will be determined by the extent of the cuts. More cuts = bigger bonus.

A real and ethical leader would start with cutting his salary / bonus package
